A message from State Representative Jan Tankersley:
Friends and Neighbors,
I am humbled and thankful for the confidence you have placed in me to represent your interests in the Georgia General Assembly over the past eight years. It is a tremendous responsibility that I take seriously. First and foremost, I represent my constituents. I do my best to facilitate a resolution to issues with state agencies and actively seek to connect citizens with appropriate agencies or individuals to promote new business ideas or address concerns within the district or other projects with statewide impact.
There is no doubt in my mind that we have much to brag about and be thankful for in this district: Georgia Southern University, East Georgia College, Ogeechee Technical College, choices for public or private schools, county operated recreation departments that include Splash in the Boro as well as walking/biking paths, industry and tourism jobs, a regional hospital and access to healthcare professionals, road infrastructure improvements, and retail development. We are surely blessed to continue celebrating agriculture as our number one industry.
I am honored that you placed your trust in me to continue serving in the seat that belongs to you for the next two years. Please keep in contact with me in regards to your questions, comments, and concerns as this legislative session moves forward.
